Let’s take a two-year-old up in hot air balloon! It sounds like so much fun!
The above are thoughts that have never crossed my mind.
But recently our church hosted Summerfest, a community festival with rides, jumpy houses, concerts, free food, face painting, a petting zoo, and hot air balloon rides. All things little kids love and parents tolerate because, well, they have to.
Don’t get me wrong, it was fun and you would have thought it was Christmas morning the way Elliott reacted to the butterflies painted on her arm.
And the free popcorn was a big hit.
