I stayed up last night until 1:00 AM watching Downton Abbey.  I’m exhausted today, but it was well worth it.  I’m so in love with it that while getting ready this morning, I was thinking about what the characters should do for their current problems.  Like I could solve everything.  Apparently I need to get a life.

On another Mary-get-a-life note: The Hunger Games presale tickets went on sale yesterday and so I’ll be buying those soon.  Like today, probably.

As soon as we heard the movie was being made, Chris and I vowed to go to the midnight showing.  That would have been a first for me, but I think Chris might have seen a couple Lord of the Rings movies at midnight (dork).

But now that we actually know the date, it’s not going to work.  But on the plus side, it opens the last day of school before my two week spring intercession so I could technically go see it everyday for 14 days if I felt the need.  I don’t think I’ll be doing that, but I’ll leave my schedule open just in case.

Hey! I went to the midnight showings of all of the Lord of the Rings movies. When the last one came out my husband and I were sick and we still went. We are SO cool.

I want to go to the midnight release of Hunger Games but I won’t go by myself and the person I would want to go with (my sister and only relative in Texas) lives 45 minutes away and would then have to go to work the next morning…so she wouldn’t be sleeping at all. Maybe I *should* go alone. Sigh.

I LOVE this outfit! You look so stinking cute! I still have yet to read HG but the movie looks awesome. I have read a lot about Downton Abbey and it looks right up my alley. I’m afraid to watch it though. Knowing me i’ll become obsessed and won’t be able to do anything else until I finish both seasons. BTW, we are total dorks and went to LOTR and HP midnight screenings. Word.

I always thought the midnight viewing of movies was slightly overzealous, but I’m starting to see the light with The Hunger Games.

And the main reason I won’t be going to the midnight opening is because Chris really wants to see it too and we don’t want to ask anyone to come and stay at our house all night so we could go see a movie…and I can’t ditch him and go by myself. Sigh.
