Ellie turned three on Wednesday and somehow we managed to drag the celebrating out over eight days: friend party at Chuck E. Cheese, family adventures on the actual day, preschool party on Thursday, party with Grandpa on Friday, family party on Saturday night, and fish/fish tank shopping (hopefully) today. That’s a lot of parties for one little girl.
This morning she asked me if she was still three. She was so excited to turn three that now it’s here, she just can’t believe it. And she loves telling people she’s three now. That, of course, will eventually fade. And she’s already asking when she’ll be four. That girl is too much.
