Sorry, I’ll be back tomorrow.
I’ve been struggling with why I blog.
I blog because I like to write and documenting our life for my daughters is important to me (and this whole what-I-wore thing is kinda fun). I don’t blog to get lots of followers (but that people follow me or want to read what I write is very humbling and I’m thankful for you!).
I wrote for about a year and a half without telling a single person about my blog. It was my secret place. And I liked the feeling that I could write and send something out there that would last.
But now that I’m interacting more with other bloggers, I’m starting to get worn out. Not by my blog, but by them. Follow me here, retweet this, like this.
So I’m revolting by not blogging (take that bloggers!). I’ll be back tomorrow good as new, but I just felt like things were getting messy and out of focus.
Sometimes I read a blog and it just feels so fake.
And I desperately don’t want that for my little piece of the internet. And I just felt like that needed to be said.
