I made a scheduling mistake, but it turned out okay.
We got to have dinner out, take a stroll around the city, and wander around a bookstore picking up lots of summer reads.
It was low-key and nothing special. It was comfortable.
In a we-don’t-have-to-fill-the-silence way.
In a let’s-just-people-watch way.
In a gross-you-ordered-a-hamburger-with-peanut-butter-on-it-and-there’s-no-way-I’m-kissing-you-later way.
Some people say young love it best.
I’m starting to disagree.
