copycat style & the rules

(leggings: Kohls, tank & sweater: Target, chambray button down: thrifted, scarf: holiday market, socks: Vera Wang for Kohls, boots: Target)
Next week is the official launch of our Copycat linkup.  The responses from last week’s posts were encouraging and so exciting! I kinda wish we were starting today, but I get that it’s Thanksgiving and some people are busy doing things.  Whatever.
My inspiration for this week’s post comes from Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy.  She was the first outfit post linkup I ever participated in and I have found so many great blogs (and style!) through her What I Wore Wednesday linkup.
So I picked one of Lindsey’s recent outfits to wear to an all-day holiday market.  Something stylish, warm, and comfortable.  I’ll be doing this look again very soon.

As you get your looks ready for next week’s link up, here’s some things to keep in mind:
-You must follow Texas Lovebirds and Trusty Chucks (soon we’ll have guest co-hosts and those will be an optional follow–interested in co-hosting with us? Email me at trustychucks {at} yahoo {dot} com for more information).

-Everyone likes comments! Please visit at least one other blog and leave a comment. Find new blogs! Make new friends! (The easiest way to spread the love is comment on the link up before yours, but do it however you like.)
-Please do not link to giveaways or your homepage, link to a specific post about your copycat style and how you made the look your own. Linkups that don’t follow this rule will be deleted.
-Also, please link back to the post and let your readers know what’s going on. You could grab a button if you’d like (hint, hint).

Carly (see her most recent Copycat style here) and I will pin your looks each week to the Copycat board on our Pinterest page so others can see your style and perhaps copy it!

See you soon copycats.
We can’t wait to see what looks you have come up with!

« a thankful heart.
