you need these magic pants.

(shirt & pants: Old Navy, necklace: Rue 21, ballet flats: Target)
I would like to introduce you to the miracle pants.
They make you look a lot skinner than you actually are.  Which is why I try to wear them every day as well as sleep in them.  I also wear them on the treadmill at the gym.  Anything to look thinner, people.
I don’t think the above pictures do it justice, but these pants are ah-mazing.  They’re stretchy and comfy, but dressed up enough to wear to work.  Imagine legging as pants and these are them.  They also have a little bit of shine so wearing them with heels and a blazer makes you look professional and serious-like.  Plus, I don’t know how, but they make you look thinner.  No really, when I wear these pants I get so many weight loss compliments from people who just saw me yesterday when I didn’t magically lose weight over night (as if).  And they work their magic even on a fat day.
Not that I ever have a fat day, but just throwing it out there in case you do.  Like a public service announcement.
I wish they came in other colors because I would buy them all.  Actually, who am I kidding?  I’m going to buy another pair in black and be completely happy.
It’s Christmas time, you should probably ask Santa for these pants too.  I promise, you will not be disappointed.  You’ll just be all-of-the-sudden skinnier.
What a perfect Christmas gift.

You do look aw-mawzing, Mary! I’d whistle but don’t think you’d hear me. You’re my inspiration to lose my baby weight…after the new year!

Love your pretty necklace and flats with the basic outfit! And pants that magically make one thinner are obviously something I need to check out. They do indeed make you look fabulous. 😉

Okay, so I’ve gone through my closet and I think I got rid of these magic pants because they got too big (bittersweet…). The fit was boot cut from Old Navy so I’m thinking these look very similar: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=71962&vid=1&pid=384193012 but they’re not an exact match. Sorry, but I hope that helps!

Thanks so much, I appreciate your search! Although I am sorry you had to reminisce over sad feelings thinking about them! I understand that feeling all too well. Good for you, quite an accomplishment!

I also wanted to tell you I just started following your blog and I really value your stories and experiences. I think you’re absolutely fabulous and I look forward to reading and reflecting on my own thoughts. So, thank you!
