We went with my parents to see Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And because I’m a dorky English teacher, I enjoyed it immensely. The rest of my party was not so enthusiastic about it.
If you’re local, I highly recommend you check out the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was creative, funny, modern, and fresh while still staying true to Shakespeare, the time period, and the language.
It was clever and entertaining and the last fifteen minutes, I don’t think I stopped grinning at all. It was pretty hilarious. A Midsummer Night’s Dream runs until May 12th and you can grab some tickets here.
Have you seen any good plays lately?
A few months ago my sister and I took our girls to see Pinkalicious at a local Beef and Boards dinner theatre and while Harper was probably a little too young to care (she was barely two), Elliott was enthralled and wants to go back as soon as possible.
