The Pioneer Woman. I’m pretty sure if I had cable, I would watch her constantly.
But, alas, we haven’t had cable in years and I MISS EVERYTHING because of it. Like the VMAs and N’Sync? I had to watch it the next morning on the internet. It’s just not the same people.
Recently I picked up The Pioneer Woman: Black Heels to Tractor Wheels- by Ree Drummond on a date night. It’s a true-life love story and I couldn’t pass it up (love was in the air and all).
And then I couldn’t put it down and really want to marry a cowboy.
Like right now.
Then we could move to a ranch and I could write some cookbooks and get my own Food Network show. And kitchen line.
Drummond can cook (so I hear), but she’s a great storyteller too. She made old-fashioned courting sound so appealing and country life so magical.
And I would move to the country in a heartbeat as long as I still got good cell phone reception and FedEx could deliver all my online purchases within 24 hours.
So probably not moving to the country. But read this book. It’s the next best thing.
