It’s fall, so any boot will do, but I’m especially loving booties right now.
Hi, my name is Mary, I’m a thirty-something woman who wears booties.
Could that sentence be any cooler? I mean, really. Once you get past the name, you’ll love wearing them. The thing about this season’s bootie is that they’re cut lower which I think is much more flattering if you have legs that, say, are on the thicker side. Ahem.
Last season’s booties were cut so that you couldn’t really see any ankle and as someone who has no defined ankle no matter how much weight I lose, they were not the most flattering for my legs. But this lower cut bootie (a lot of them are cut lower in the front and a little higher in the back which I’m diggin’ too) helps a sister out.
So booties for fall. Get ’em now and feel less trunk-like than you did last season. Thank you, fashion gods.
