As the season has officially started to change in Indy (it was cold this morning!), I feel I’m now allowed to wear my fall clothes. And with a new season comes new trends or new ways to wear old pieces (which I’m a really big fan of since it doesn’t involve spending money to feel current). So I thought I’d do a series on the pieces or trends I love right now. Some of the things I love are for personal reasons and some are true, what-everyone-is-wearing items. But it’s my blog and I do what I want, so you’ll just have to be patient if you don’t like what I’m telling you to wear or what I’m wearing.
Truth be told, I probably won’t like it next week either.

Have you guys heard that word before? Oh, right. It’s the word to say which totally makes me hate it, but I love wearing it so much that I’ve reconciled most of my hate. Chambray has been around for a few seasons now so everyone’s upping the ante by pairing it with jeans. Blue on blue is where it’s at right now. I went black jeans and dark chambray above and am slowly easing my way into full-on jean action.
I think there’s a mental block for me because I grew up in the eighties and early nineties. All jean-related fashion from that period has completely scarred me and made getting dressed a lot more stressful than it should be.
But everyone is wearing the chambray with jeans and I’ll eventually make my way there also. How are you doing? Have you braved the chambray and jean look? Did you live to tell about it? Please tell.
