The Grahams love to camp. We get out two to three times each year, trying a new place each time. And as the girls get older, we’re getting more adventurous and braving longer trips which is why I’m so excited to tell you about CarefreeRV Resorts located in Canada because it’s on our bucket list for 2015. They have 15 parks and campgrounds in Ontario that can accommodate RVs/tents, or you can rent a cabin or cottage for your stay. I love their Willowood and Sherkston Shores resorts because they are just minutes away from the Michigan/Canada border which would make a perfect road trip if you live in the Midwest.
I love that we’re raising kids that will have memories of camping and adventuring as kids. When I was younger, my family and I did some RV camping but as my siblings and I got older, things just got too busy. I hope that as our kids continue to grow, we can keep traveling and seeing the country with a tent in our truck. (One day will we transition to an RV? Hopefully, yes, but we’ll see. My old-lady hip doesn’t like sleeping for extended amounts of time on the ground so an RV would be a welcome addition at some point.)
Whatever way you like to vacation–tent, TV, or in an air conditioned cabin with indoor plumbing–CarefreeRV Resorts has something for you. And their resorts are not just campgrounds with a pool. This isn’t camping from when you were a child, folks. Their resorts feature things like zip-lining, splash pads, ropes courses, beaches, water slides, and so much more. Carefree RV Resorts have totally upped the camping game.
I can’t wait to visit them soon. If you’d like to visit too (and why wouldn’t you??!), from now until June 31st, they’re offering you 20% off their daily rates (use promo code Blog20 for tent and RV sites and promo code BlogRT for cottage and cabin rentals). I’d book a stay for at least a week so you can get everything done. And then a second week to recover.
