Louisa’s back in After You, Jojo Moyes’ sequel to Me Before You and things are still rough for our lovable main character. She’s still not recovered from Will’s death and even though she’s traveling like he requested, she feels empty and lonely.
Things just aren’t as great as she thought they would be. She misses Will too much.
What makes Louisa so likable is also what’s holding her back in life and when she gets set up in London to live a new, exciting life, very little of the plans she makes actually happen. And then she falls off the top of her apartment building and things go even further downhill.
What happens as she rebuild–again–is both painful and beautiful.
I loved After You by Jojo Moyes. We get to be with Louisa again and she’s just as fun and real the second time around.
