I’ve seen To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han around for a while; on book lists, on Instagram, etc. But I always thought it looks to fluffy and cute for me to read.
WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?
It’s so fluffy and cute and fun and I loved it.
I know I don’t have to remind you I love YA romance, but I am anyway. There is nothing life changing or monumental in this book, but I loved reading it. It was great summer reading, entertaining and light. I read it the week I was supposed to be preparing for our trip out west. Instead of packing, I stay up all night reading. It was awesome.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is about a girl, Lara Jean, who writes letters to boys she’s secretly been in love with when she’s finally ready to move on from them. Not that she actually sends the. The boys don’t even know she loved them. But then the letter accidentally get sent and all heck breaks loose. The chaos that ensues is messy and embarrassing and wonderful.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han was good. I loved the tension and what-ifs; I loved the sister relationship; I loved the father in the story. If you read this one, have the sequel ready to go though. It leaves you in the lurch and you’ll have to run out and get the next book immediately like I did.
