an inconvenient corpse

(sorry these pictures are so bad; it was dark and I didn’t use my flash [except for the last one].)

Last week I had to supervise the school play and I took Ellie as my assistant/date.

She loved every minute of it.  We got to stop by the book fair and pick out some new books, swing by the basketball game and get some Skittles at the concession stand, and then watch “big kids” perform An Inconvenient Corpse.  It was a really good play and the kids were awesome.

And Ellie was the perfect date.

Every time there was an audience laugh, she cackled the loudest of anyone.  She got to stay out past her bedtime and have some one-on-one time with Mommy.  I don’t know who enjoyed it more.

Seriously that is SO adorable. Can’t wait until my son gets a little older and we can have mommy-son dates. 🙂

You are going to LOVE it. I think I was just as giddy as she was. 🙂
