(skirt: Kohls, shirt: Banana Republic, tights: Vera Wang for Kohls, boots: Target)
This is pretty much my go-to outfit right now. I shared a glimpse of this on Instagram recently and my love for it hasn’t faded. I’m actually wearing a black pencil skirt and sweater with boots right now. I tend to find one style I like and then I cling to it (also see: colored skinnies and a button down).
Once again I have Pinterest to thank for this idea.
Because, really, what else is there?
I really did try the baseball t-shirt look first, but it just didn’t work for me. I’m not giving up though, because I love her look. I love everything about it.
So there’s your warning that you’ll probably see this idea again soon. Don’t say I didn’t tell you.
Now it’s your turn! Show us your where you found some inspiration and then your version. And happy Valentine’s day! I’ve got an exciting evening of 8th grade girls’ basketball planned and I am sure it will be romantic and special.

I want your closet. That top is so something I would wear. Love!
You look fab! I love the more casual striped tee with a structured skirt!
