(navy skinnies: Target, shirt: Kohls, boots: Old Navy, necklace: Lisa Leonard Designs)
This is an outfit inspiration that morphed into something not exactly the same.
I started out with black jeans and a chambray top but it didn’t look right on me. So then I went with the polka dot chambray for a little pattern since my outfit looked dull.
Then I didn’t like how the pants looked so I changed those too.
And I didn’t have black shoes like hers so I went with brown boot (it’s still freezing in Indy!) and then I had an outfit that looked nothing like the original idea.
But I guess that’s okay, it just “inspired” this one and sometimes just leaving the house with clothes on is an accomplishment (not that I leave the house without clothes on…). Plus, it was the weekend and I have the hardest time getting dressed on those two precious days off.

Love your “inspired look”! I don’t think I followed the rules for this link — didn’t include a photo of the inspiration in my post. I’m not sure what inspired my look! Anyway, are your linky parties always the same with the inspired photo along with your new outfit? If they are, I can plan accordingly. I do like to play by the rules (well, some of the time).
