We’re enjoying every last minute of summer that we can.
Evenings spent outside, playing at the park, or riding bikes. I know we still have plenty of time for these things, but soon the weather will cool off and, as much as I love fall, I love these last precious days of summer too.
Fall is, by far, my favorite season, but I’m not at the point of rushing it to come yet. I still like flip flops and bathing suits, hot sun and my car windows down.
It’s become our evening ritual since school started to sit out on the back porch after dinner and talk as the girls run around chasing the dog or each other. It gives Chris and me a chance to catch up and for us to just be together. Sometimes in the madness of kids and work and responsibilities, that gets lost too easily.
