paper towel polar bear at anthropologie

(skinnies: Old Navy Rock Star jeans, blouse: Marshalls, scarf: gift, boots: Target)

Most descriptive blog post title for the win.

I wore this outfit to Anthropologie one morning with a local mom group I’ve recently joined.  We got to meet with the store designers (Did you know each store has its own display manager?  And all he/she does is dream up concepts to make the store look amazing?? I want this job!) and then help put some stuff together for their Christmas displays that will go up around the first of November.

It was close to a perfect morning.  I even ended up on their Instagram feed for one precious moment.  It’s pretty much my claim to fame these days.

They fed us a yummy breakfast complete with apple cider, we got to work on the fur for that cute polar bear pictured above, and had some fun conversations.  And I walked away with an intense desire to decorate my house for Christmas.  It was a lot of fun and I’ll definitely join them again soon.

After the event, I headed to school where one of my students asked if I shopped at T.J. Maxx because I looked like a maxxinista.  That made me giggle.  I think it was because I left my scarf on most of the day and I’ve never done that before.

But if I had taken my scarf off, everyone would have gotten a glimpse of this beauty:

My new favorite necklace, a lovely piece from Lisa Leonard Designs.  I was gifted this bad boy at The Influence Conference from the wonderful The Mom Creative and haven’t taken it off since.  If you don’t know Lisa Leonard, I suggest you make your way over there now for some eye candy and perhaps a little shopping.  You won’t regret it.

I have a major love for green pants, and paired with these boots, I’m swooning! I love this look, and am so jealous you got to meet with the store designers! I always love checking out their window displays, and that would seriously be my ultimate dream job!
